NORCA Nations to Participate in PANAM Games Handball Competition

The PANAM Games is a multi-sport Olympic Games style competition for the nations of North and South America that takes place every four years. For Handball there will be both Women’s and Men’s Competitions with the winners of each event receiving direct qualification to the Olympics and the runners-up earning a spot in an Olympic Qualification Tournament in spring, 2024.

Women’s Competition

The Women’s Competition will be held first and will run from 24 to 29 October. NORCA will be represented by the nations of Canada, Cuba and Puerto Rico.

  • Local time in Chile is 1 hour ahead of US ET, Canada ET, Cuba and Dominican Republic
  • Local time in Chile is 3 hours ahead of Mexico City
  • Local time in Chile is 5 hours behind Central European Time (CET) (24-28 October)
  • Local time in Chile is 4 hours behind CET (after daylight saving starts in Europe on 29 October)
