2023 NACHC Women’s Championships Starts Today in Greenland

The 2023 NACHC Women’s Handball Championships will start today in Greenland and will conclude on Sunday, June 11th. Five nations are participating: Canada, Cuba, Mexico, USA and the hosts, Greenland.

Cuba and Mexico will get the competition started today at 5:00 PM (Greenland time*). After their match there will be an opening ceremony at 6:40 PM followed by the 2nd match of the evening between Greenland and Canada at 8:00 PM. All matches will be live streamed on the Greenland Handball Federation YouTube Channel

The teams will play a full round robin from 5-10 June and the tournament will conclude on Sunday, 11 June with the top 2 teams squaring off in the gold medal match and the 3rd and 4th place teams playing for bronze. The tournament winner will also qualify for the 2023 IHF Handball World Championships this December in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
