Today, the NACHC has emitted the following communication:
To the Handball Community in North America and the Caribbean
The timing of the contingency in which Mexico lives in, caused by the COVID19 Pandemic, has led to cumulative and increasing restrictions on the preparation and scheduling of the NACHC Senior Men Qualification tournament, which unfortunately do not allow the Mexican Handball Federation to preserve this sport event without putting the health of the potential participants at risk and therefore with no real expectations to continue with a structured planning of the event.
The Mexican Handball Federation remains committed to organize competitions in the future and looks forward to a brighter and healthier 2021, nevertheless, today, concerned about this threatening situation and after deep thoughts, I, sadly, have decided to make public this information, so that the NACHC can find an acceptable alternative for all the interested parties.

It is also communicated that there will be an emergency meeting on Monday, August 10th to decide on the next steps.
