After announcing in July 16th the postponement of the IHF Super Globe to a later undecided date, the IHF Council has taken the decision, this past September 23rd, to officially cancel the 2020 IHF Men’s Super Globe. This comes after a request from the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation, regarding the many restrictions imposed because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It was further informed that the participating club teams of the 2021 IHF Men’s Super Globe, apart from the organizer and the reigning champion, will be determined on the basis of continental qualification events played in the 2020/2021 season.
