The NACHC Club Championships start today (26 July) in Monterrey Mexico with two Mexico – USA clashes. The first match at 2:30 PM (local) has Club Vikingos facing the New York Athletic and the second match (8:00 PM) has tournament hosts, Club Ministros taking on last year’s NACHC Champions, San Francisco CalHeat. There will also be an opening ceremony at 6:30 PM. (Note: Monterrey is 1 hour ahead of U.S. Eastern Time, Canada Eastern Time and Puerto Rico Time)

Also participating in the tournament are the Los Guerrilleros from Puerto Rico and Canada’s Club de Handball de Levis. The teams are divided into two pools of three teams and round robin play will take place from Tuesday to Thursday (26-28 July). Semifinal matches will be played on Friday, 29 July and the Finals will be played on Saturday, 30 July.

The winner of this Championship will be the NACHC representative to the 2022 IHF Super Globe Championship in Saudi Arabia from 17 to 23 October.
