The 2022 NACHC Men’s Youth Championships / IHF Youth Trophy competition was held from 15 to 19 November in Mexico City. Six teams, (Canada, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States) participated and they played a full round robin of competition. Guadeloupe won the title with an unblemished 5-0-0 record. As the winners of the tournament they will represent the NACHC at the IHF Youth Trophy Intercontinental Championships.
Mexico and the United States finished with 3-1-1 records, but Mexico took second place due to their superior goal differential. As Guadeloupe falls under France for IHF World Championship competition, Mexico and the United States both qualified for the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Handball Championships in Croatia from 2 to 13 August.
